Terms of Service
Last updated September 26, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Firefly Software, LLC (“we”) for using SignalGrade. By using it, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What SignalGrade is
SignalGrade is a free tool that measures audio files and reports numbers like loudness, dynamics, tonal balance, and stereo width. The results are measurements to help you make your own decisions. They aren't professional mastering advice. Anything your AI assistant says about the results is written by your assistant, not by us.
Your music
You keep all rights to anything you upload. We don't claim any ownership of it, and we only use it to run the analysis you asked for, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Only upload audio you have the right to use. If someone brings a claim against us because of audio you uploaded without that right, you're responsible for it.
Using it fairly
Don't use SignalGrade to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to get around limits we put in place. We may block anyone who does.
No guarantees
We work to make the measurements accurate, but SignalGrade is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including that it's accurate, available, or suitable for any particular purpose. It may be slow, unavailable, or wrong at times. Double-check anything important before relying on it.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect or consequential losses from using SignalGrade, such as lost profits, lost data, or a release that didn't go as planned. Our total liability to you for anything related to SignalGrade is limited to $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Changes
SignalGrade is free, and we may change it, limit it, or stop offering it at any time. We may also update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and if you keep using SignalGrade after a change, the new terms apply.
California law
California law governs these terms. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
